Welcome to Budding Chefs! At Budding Chefs we wish to encourage children from the ages of 3-14 years to learn to cook, enjoy all aspects of food, and teach them as much as possible about nutrition, as well as allowing them to experience the joys of food and taste. For the older children, we demonstrate menu planning, knife skills (over 9 years and upwards). For the younger children, classes and parties are designed to be FUN, as we all understand the problems of attention span!
Our Partner Chefs have over 70 years of experience in the food industry, from teaching through to executive level chef positions.
Classes are held normally during school holiday time, but other arrangements are possible for groups. You can either arrange your classes or parties at your home, or at one of our recommended venues or indeed, for the older children, at our purpose built unit in Ascot. Parties can be any day, any time to suit.
We offer some great add on services – Chef Buddies - our cookery club, childrens’ chefs apparel, competitions, visits to local markets and to the famous Borough Market in London. Please keep an eye on our website and our mailers for all the information you require.
For the Big Kids (ADULTS!!) we offer a wonderful hands on experience at our unit where you prepare and cook your own three-course dinner, accompanied by wines suggested by our Sommelier.
